The Blue Cave is one of the most beautiful and largest caves in a series of caves in the rocks along the very rugged coast of the Luštica Peninsula in the Bay of Kotor. The cave is located between the port of Zlatni and Cape Mokra Gora and is 5.7 nautical miles away from Herceg Novi. It has two entrances at an angle of 45 degrees, a smaller opening on the south side, and a larger one on the southwest side, which is 3 meters high and about 15 meters wide. So regular boats and smaller boats can enter the cave.
The sea depth inside the cave is 4 to 5 meters. The height from sea level to the top of the ceiling is 9 meters, and the surface is about 300 m². It is named after the unusual crystal blue color that is created by the reflection of sunlight that settles from the surface during the afternoon.
Blue Cave is one of those attractions that must not be missed, and when experienced, it remains forever in the memory of those who have experienced it!
